ORIGINAL PAINTING
All of Meg Gallaghers paintings are one-of-a-kind original artworks. Meg uses heavy-duty 100% Cotton denim as her base. The denim is then manipulated with bleach and dye to create organic textures and tones. Oil pastels and painting with a palette knife is then used to bring to life the composition.
Due to the heavy textural nature of Meg's art process, slight cracks can show up in the layers. These details are to be celebrated as part of the final piece and enhance the beautiful textures of each piece.

Please allow 1 - 2 weeks shipping time for unframed pieces and 3 - 4 weeks for framed pieces, as framed works will be shipped with a specialty courier company to ensure your piece is delivered safely.

Framing: Framed pieces are stretched and mounted into a Tasmanian oak floater frame with d-rings and hanging wire so it is ready to be hung.
Unframed pieces are sent rolled safely in a waterproof mailer tube. Then you can take this piece to a local framer of your choice to be easily framed. If you are planning on waiting a while to complete framing, I would suggest storing the piece unrolled and laying flat.
